Avocado Smoothie-Skin food


Noticed that avocados are on offer in most supermarkets,and having a sudden craving for desserts,I decided to subsitute it with creamy ice cold avocado smoothie instead..hehe...Rich in monounsaturated fats,vit A,E as well as containing folate and potassium,it does makes a healthier choice than most desserts laden with coconut milk,doesn't it?Besides,it helps to prevent dehydrated skin and most importantly,wrinkles,which at my age,I ought to be wary about...haha....
If you do like to try this smoothie which taste very much like melted vanilla ice cream minus the sugar,artifical flavourings and sweetners,heres the recipe:
2 ripe avocados(when pressed,it should be slightly soft,colour is not a gd indicator for ripeness)
1 tbsp of pure honey
a mug of chilled low-fat milk,about 350ml
4 ice cubes
1.Peel and deseeded avocados.Place all ingredients into the blender,blend till smooth.
