After 8

Like most city -dwellers,after 8pm seem to be a time to either indulge in a good meal,or slouch on the sofa watching tv programmes or simply eating in front of the tv....haha....Now that clover is joining us at the dinner table, she seem to enjoy her food even more, having a nibble here and there at our food...as she can be picky about her food...haha....Read that by letting clover eating together with us will reduce some stress of her having to endure all the stares at her finishing her meal...haha...Furthermore,when she see us tucking in,she will be more willing to try the food without much coaxing...hehe...Hence,my cooking is always lightly seasoned or none at all for her sake and our health...But I always draw the line at her trying my desserts,no hurry for that anyway...This is meant for sharing between adults, too bad for you ,clover...haha...Next time ,I will definitely bake more of this,hehe...try it and judge if it is worth it...hope you like my another experiment of mine...hehe..

After 8 brownies
120g dark broken chocolate
3/4 cup butter
approx 2 cups sugar(I cut off around 3 tbsp of sugar as after 8 is sweet too)
11/2 cup flour
3 eggs
1/2 cup yoghurt
12 pieces of after-8 chocolate mints
Methods:
1.Melt chocolate and butter using either the microwave or double-boil.Add sugar to stir.Add eggs and stir.Add in sieved flour.
2.If mixture is lumpy, pour into a sieve and drain it.Pour out one layer, covering the base, add the after 8 chocolate mints, leaving around 3cm space apart.Cover the chocolate mints with the rest of brownie batter.Bake in preheated oven at 180 degree celcius for about 35 minutes, cool in pan and cut.

Nice brownies, soft and moist...the cooling sensation of the after 8 mints complement the chocolate taste well....Mmmm...
